Heavy Mechanical Complex which is equipped with designing, engineering and manufacturing know-how for industrial plants and machinery, entered into the energy sector e.g. power generation and oil & gas processing industry during 6th-5 year plan. The company made additional investment for acquiring machinery from Western Europe; as a result HMC was able to produce high pressure parts of Thermal Power plants, operating at 172 bars and temperature 540C. The specific machinery installed is also being extensively used for manufacture of gas processing Plants and production equipment and other high quality equipment. Simultaneously HMC arranged training of its engineers and technicians at Deutche Babcock Works, Germany.
