Heavy Mechanical Complex (HMC) is the only local manufacturer of power plant equipment which has been authorized by American Boiler Board to use ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineering) stamp S, PP, U & U2 for power plant boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping, for which there are stringent international quality requirements. In order to compete in the international market, HMC, Pakistan Machine Tool Factory (PMTF) and Pakistan Engineering Company (PECO) have obtained ISO 9001 certification for establishing quality assurance procedures and systems which will help in producing quality goods as per international standards and customer satisfaction.
